VMA is truly grateful for all of the Villa family members who donate their time and energy to the school and to VMA’s auxiliary organizations. Without our volunteers, our wonderful school and community events and activities would not be possible. Please take a moment to review the volunteer opportunities for Fine Arts Patrons below. Hospitality Coordinator (Year Round Position)
This individual would assist in:
Recruiting volunteers to provide baked goods, bottled water, etc. for FAP events
Working in conjunction with the FAP President and Vice-President to provide volunteers for the FAP events
Creating additional opportunities to welcome new members to FAP and/or reach out for new volunteers
Assisting with High School play (March, 2009)
Labeling and mailing of Opening Night Reception invitations
Co-Hosting the Opening Night Reception with Dev.Department
Serving as play Concessions Coordinator
Serving as Student Volunteer Coordinator
Assisting with Gallery Night (April, 2009)
Serving on the Performance Events or Visual Arts Committee
Preparing and displaying student artwork
Assisting coordinator with escorting students to performances
Coordinating intermission concessions
Promoting event
Assisting fine arts teachers with performances (Year Round)
Promoting performances
Working at performances
Assisting with providing refreshments at events
Volunteering on event day
Fine Arts Patrons
Communications Coordinator (Year Round position)
This individual would be responsible for the following:
Coordinating communications efforts throughout the year
Creating trimester newsletter
Organizing updates regarding current and future events to VMA families/alumni,
Communicating to the local community as needed
Assisting with preparing and sending thank you notes to donors and supporters of FAP events during the year
General Fundraising Development Opportunities for FAP
Advertising and promotion of note card sales
Assisting in the development of new opportunities to build FAP funds to allow for further promotion of fine arts programming for FAP, such as grant research and adding possible fundraising activities on to already existing events.
