The Class of 1959 - Millie Niewahner established a scholarship to benefit Villa Madonna Academy’s high school students. The scholarship will be awarded annually to an incoming 11th or 12th grade student who would otherwise not be able to attend the school because of limited financial resources.

Award Criteria:

- Financial need

- Must be an incoming 11th or 12th grade student

- Displays high character and leadership potential
- Displays steadfastness and commitment to academics

Application Requirements:   

- Application must be submitted by April 30 of each year and include:

- A Villa Madonna Academy Application Form

- A Villa Madonna Academy Financial Need Form

- A letter written by the student and a letter written by an adult explaining why the student should receive the
  scholarship addressing the criteria listed above

- A recommendation letter from the student’s teacher

- Previous Scholarship recipients may re-apply each year
