Welcome to VMA SCRIP!

Every week, VMA families have the opportunity to participate in the SCRIP gift card program.  The VMA SCRIP office purchases gift cards in bulk from retailers, restaurants gas stations and other service providers.  Because we purchase in bulk, we are awarded a discount.  When a family purchases a gift card form us, we make a profit.  This profit is split 50/50 to VMA and to the purchasing family tuition account.  Our goal is to reduce family tuitions while earning profits for the VMA general operating fund.

How to Place an Order: 
Completed order forms with cash or check payment (payable to VMA SCRIP) should be delivered to VMA on or before 10:00 each Tuesday.  The orders will be processed each Tuesday at 10:00 AM SHARP!   Completed order forms can be sent in with your child and turned in to his/her teacher, or you may drop the form off at the main office in the mailbox marked SCRIP (located inside the office on the wall next to the desk).

How to Pick Up an Order:
On each Thursday, your SCRIP order will be available for pickup between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the SCRIP office. Or, you may pick it up Friday morning between 8:00 am - 12:00 noon in the Main Office.  

For Elementary Families:   If you have a CHILD WAIVER FORM on file we will distribute your order to your child's classroom between 1:00 - 2:30 on Thursday. 

For High School Families:  We will deliver you certificates to your child at lunch.  If we miss your child on Thursday, we will call them to our office on Friday during planning period. Your SCRIP order will be distributed in a tan business envelope.  The envelope will be recycled on a weekly basis, so please return these with your next completed scrip order.  

Children/students will NOT be permitted to pick up SCRIP orders on Thursday unless the parent has given written permission by filling out the Villa Madonna Academy SCRIP Student/Child Waiver Form.

SCRIP Information:  You will receive weekly reports on the dollars you have saved toward your tuition as well as for the school.  Look for this information on the label when you receive your SCRIP order.

You will receive a quarterly report showing your tuition reduction.  If you make payments using FACTS, then our Business Manager, Donna Wessler, will notify FACTS each quarter with the reduction amount.  

SCRIP cash certificates do not have an expiration date unless noted in the Usage Guidelines. You can pay at the gas pump with your SCRIP electronic certificate card. You can use SCRIP certificates to pay your Kohl's and JCPenny charge accounts.To register your Remke Preferred Customer Card to Villa, please fill out the attached form and return the form to your local Remke Market.  Remke donates 1% of every sale to our school if our cards are registered and scanned.

The easiest way to participate is the Kroger re-loadable gift card.  Our goal is to have every Villa family using this EASY method of reducing tuition AND making money for our school.

Here's how it works:

(1) Purchase your Kroger re-loadable gift card from the SCRIP office.  (The cost of $5 will be on the card at the time of purchase). Before the Kroger cashier begins to ring up your groceries, hand your gift card to the cashier and put any amount up to $250 on your card.  You can pay for this transaction with cash, check, or credit card.  You can also load your card at the service desk for ANY AMOUNT prior to shopping. Then, pay for your groceries with your loaded Kroger gift card.

(2) You can purchase any merchandise including alcohol and tobacco and fuel. You can load your Kroger card at the fuel center for up to $100. Treat your card then as a credit card at the pump!  You may NOT purchase services (such as, money orders, ticket master, lottery tickets, money transfer, or postage.)

(3) The SCRIP office will receive a check for 4% of all earnings at the end of each 4-week cycle.  This rebate check will be split 2% toward the family's tuition reduction and 2% to the school.

Do NOT throw away your Kroger gift card.  You can add money to your card at any time!!
