Welcome to Villa Madonna Academy High/Junior High!
The four years of high school are the four most important years in the life of a child, and the junior high years are times of great growth and maturity. Where better to have your children educated than in a Catholic high school/junior high with outstanding faculty, challenging curriculum, and a success rate unequalled.
In our plan to move forward and provide the best possible education to our students, grades 7 and 8 are aligned with the high school, and opportunities abound for our junior high students to be treated as young adults and experience our incredible high school.
In a school with a commitment to small class sizes, we continue to have a great percentage of our classes with National Merit Students, Governor's Scholars, and AP Scholars. In fact, we have more AP Scholars than any school in the northern Ky. area. In additon, our ACT averages are higher than the Diocesan, state and national averages. This is a true testament to school and family working together.
Parents and students recognize that nowhere in the area is there a school such as Villa Madonna Academy High School/Junior High. In addition to our excellent Catholic, Benedictine education, Villa students have so many opportunities here to participate in the activities they wish, to play on the teams they wish, to be challenged by our college-preparatory/honors curriculum, to serve others. Villa students are independent thinkers ready for the world, young men and women who know how to learn with each other and work with each other, mature, spiritual students who grow in their faith and make good decisions.
If you are looking for one of the best schools in the country, you have discovered that Villa is a private, Catholic, co-ed school offering only a college-preparatory program in the high school. Villa is a twice- recognized National Blue Ribbon School with consecutive recognitions: There is no other high school in the Diocese or area to be so recognized. And,our ACT scores did NOT need to be super-scored in order to earn Blue Ribbon status! Our junior high is also a national Blue Ribbon school, continuing the tradition of excellence. In addition, we have been accredited by AdvancEd/SACS since 1921. If you need information about admissions, please contact our admissions director at
As we prepare students for university life and their future careers, we are the only school who designed and offers the VMA Improve Your Edge! Seniors work with local image and career consultants to learn how to write a resume, how to greet people, how to interview for university acceptances and jobs, and how to be a professional in business settings. Students review campus safety, financial issues, and hear from recent grads about the college-life experience. With their Villa academic and faith foundation, our students are ready for their future.
Villa is excited to offer more Advanced Placement courses than most schools in the area, a co-ed student body dedicated to service and living the Benedictine values, and an award-winning faculty. Let your young adult experience Villa's Foreign Language Lab, partner school in Spain, state-of-the-art technology with iPads, and a student body dedicated to academics and service. Entrust your child's education to a school where the focus is on academics and not simply athletics, where young men and women learn together (just like in the real world), and where students learn in an atmosphere committed to service to others. Come see why a co-ed education is the best education you can offer your students, and why it works so well here at Villa!
Come see our unique gymnasium where our winning teams practice and the Fine Arts Centre that produces some of the best art and drama in the area. Come see students and faculty who pray together everyday, knowing that they are always in the holy presence of God. You will see why this Catholic high/junior high school is the best choice, and the only choice for your student.
Please call if you have any questions. It is here where "knowledge is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire."
