Congratulations to seniors Jonathan Bender and Charlie Lotz who have been named National Merit Semifinalists.  Jonathan and Charlie were among the 1.4 million juniors in nearly 21,000 high schools who entered the 2007 National Merit Program last school year.  They join approximately 16,000 Semifinalists in the 52nd annual National Merit Scholarship Program.  The pool of Semifinalists represents less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors.  Congratulations, also, to senior Mark Kahmann who was named a National Merit Commended Student.
