Congratulations to senior Jake Klare who is the recipient of a Gold Key Award in the Scholastic Writing Awards of 2006.  The Gold Key is the highest level of achievement at the regional level, and Jake's Writing Portfolio has been forwarded to New York City for national judging.  In addition, Jake received a Silver Key Award in the Science Fiction/Fantasy Category.  Jake will be honored at the Awards Ceremony on March 19.
