Students Chosen as Governor's Scholars - 2005

Congratulations to juniors Ben Fotsch and David Love who have been selected as Governor's Scholars.  The Governor's Scholars Program is a stimulating five-week residential summer program for outstanding Kentucky students completing their junior year in high school.  The program provides academic and personal growth in a challenging, non-traditional experience that balances a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience.  The campuses for 2005 will be Bellarmine University in Louisville, Centre College in Danville, and Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond.  Governor's Scholars choose from approximately 25 subjects ranging from physical science to cultural anthropology.  Student productions, publications, research, experiments and field trips enhance the curriculum.  Applicants are chosen from a highly competitive field of outstanding young Kentuckians, and we congratulate Ben Fotsch and David Love.
