Welcome to Villa Madonna Academy High School! Our freshman class for the 2008-2009 school year is currently full, so please contact the school for information regarding possible openings.
In a great honor for us, VMA High School was voted one of the Best Private High Schools by Cincinnati Magazine. We re the only school in the area to receive consecutive National Blue Ribbon Awards - an honor given to no other school in the Diocese or tri-state area.
Villa Madonna Academy High School is, also, proud to announce our National Merit Students! Alex Ross-Stuart is a National Merit Finalist, Brad Rymarquis is a National Merit Semifinalist, and Stephen Love is a National Merit Commended Student. Over 1.4 million juniors from 21,000 high schools entered the National Merit Competition last year, and it is an honor to have three Villa students recognized by the National Merit Program. We also congratulate Alex Ross-Stuart on being one of three students in the state of Kentucky to have the highest index score on the PSAT which determined the National Merit students.
The four years of high school are four of the most important years in the life of a teen. Parents are looking for a school where the possibilities are endless, and that school is Villa. We are so touched by the comment made by a family who visited our Open House: The passion the faculty and everyone here at Villa has for the school and the students is truly genuine and unique among schools. It is this passion for a Catholic education in the Benedictine tradition, for the student as an individual, for young men and women learning together (just like in the real world), for a focus on academics and not simply athletics, for an atmosphere committed to service to others that makes our high school a truly remarkable place.
If you are looking for an incredible high school, you have discovered that Villa is a private, Catholic, co-ed high school offering only a college-preparatory program. Villa is a twice-recognized National Blue Ribbon School with consecutive recognitions: There is no other high school in the Diocese or area to be so recognized. How great to offer more Advanced Placement courses, a co-ed student body dedicated to service and living the Benedictine values of hospitality, respect and scholarship, and an award-winning faculty. Let your young adult experience Villa's Foreign Language Lab, partner schools in Dijon, France, and Madrid, Spain, SmartBoards, journalism and broadcast class with FOX news reporter Steve Oldfield, and technology in action!
Come see our state-of-the-art gymnasium where our winning teams practice and the Fine Arts Centre that produces some of the best art and drama in the area. Come see students and faculty who pray together everyday, knowing that they are always in the holy presence of God. You will see why this Catholic high school is the best choice, the only choice for your high school student.
Please call if you have any questions. It is here where "knowledge is not the filling of a pail but the lighting of a fire."
