AP Chemistry:

A comprehensive first year college chemistry course following the guidelines of the Advanced Placement program. Topics include: atomic and molecular structure, stoichiometry, electrochemistry, thermochemistry, nuclear reactions, and equilibrium.

Prerequisites:

- A in general chemistry
- Strong math background
- Completed or is currently taking pre-calculus
- Willingness to do a lot of homework problems
- Willingness to attend after school labs every couple of weeks on Monday
- Interest in chemistry
- Recommendation of science teacher
