AP Art: 

This course requires the highly motivated student to develop a large portfolio of work, to be submitted for evaluation. 

AP Studio Art Drawing is a course designed for the art student to develop a comprehensive portfolio of work for the AP Studio Drawing Portfolio Exam.  Through informed critical decision making, the students will develop a portfolio of work which demonstrates an exploration of the student's personal ideas as well as a mastery of drawing in concept, composition and execution.  The Structure of the AP Studio Art Drawing Portfolio is divided into 3 sections: Quality, Concentration and Breadth.

 Course Prerequisites:
- Successful completion of Art 4
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic and high level of maturity
- Regular/consistent attendance
- Teacher approval
