English IV:

Senior English students use a combination of a Prentice Hall anthology, as well as additional novels, and dramas to become familiar with a recognized body of British literature. Weekly vocabulary study, a variety of writing assignments both prepared and on-demand, and refined study of literary criticism aid the students in becoming skillful writers and feeling at ease in a college literature course at the end of this course. A special emphasis will be placed on essay writing to facilitate writing the college essay.
