English II:

This course uses a combination of an anthology, novels, dramas, and other literature to broaden one’s understanding and appreciation of world literature and universal themes. The writing process is emphasized including essay writing according to the MLA format as well as writing in response to literature. Research skills are further developed, combining technology and library skills. In addition, vocabulary enrichment is stressed as an integral part of the course. Finally, effective communication skills are further developed.
