Every high school student must complete twenty (20) hours of community service per school year. They may count hours earned the summer before school begins. Follow the link to Service Opportunities for some suggestions.
Participating in a project with the Christian Outreach Program (COP) is a great way to complete service hours. COP meetings are on Mondays during Activity Period.
Please keep in mind the reason for completing community service hours. Service is about freeing our neighbors and ourselves from alienation. For more information, refer to the Theology of Service presentation.
