Christian Service Constantly Occurs Throughout our Lives
The service club participates in projects, which engage students with community and encourages their faith-filled journeys. Through active participation in the community students develop their understanding of issues such as the environment, poverty, hunger, racism, prejudice, and education. Christian service calls students to develop a faith-based view of life.

Who may participate?
COP welcomes any student, grades 9-12, to participate in projects.

Mentoring at Glenn O Swing Elementary

When are projects?
COP schedules a variety of events throughout the year. Projects occur during school, such as spreading Christmas joy, after school mentoring, while others take place on weekends, such as participating in a wheelchair wash.

What is the time committment?

Some activities require a weekly or bi-weekly commitment. Saturday events usually take place for a few hours in the morning. Recycling takes place during Activity Period one or two days each week.
