To be eligible for the Duke University Talent Identification Programs (TIP), a student needs to score in the top 5% in the nation on a grade level standardized test. Congratulations to our Fourth Grade students who have qualified for the Duke University 4th-6th Grade Talent Search (TIP) for 2013: Elizabeth Acuff, Ella Bailey, Sydney Balson, Jackson Bond, James Carroll, Aidan Collins, Matthew Davis, Steven Devoto, Grant Forster, Bethany Gledhill, Paige Graf, Justin Graner, Jacob Handler, Reese Holtzman, Sophie Holtzman, Isaac Kennedy, Sophie Keseberg, Jenna Lusk, Alex Mate’, Max McCauley, Caroline McDonald, Abby McKinley, Teagan Mead, Emma Meyer, Alexis Moore, Sophia Olivia, Aidan Poole, Shreya Reddy, Emily Richardson, Mark Schutzman, Elizabeth Thomas, Hannah Willmott, and Mitchell Wright. Also qualifying are Michael Schleuter and Nicholas Roland, new 5th grade students.
For the first time this year, Duke University TIP is including 6th grade for this program. Every one of our new 6th grade students qualify and they are Hannah Hassoun, Elyse Thaman, Hanlei Wang, Toshi Watanabe, Chendo Zapote and Saul Zapote.
