The Eighth Grade Science program allows students to discover concepts within the course contents and enable them to make connections among the science disciplines. This course will also allow students to take the science concepts and apply the knowledge to their everyday lives.
The Eighth Grade Social Studies program involves students in the study of American History topics beginning with Reconstruction and concluding the year with current information. Students participate in activities involving geography, research and computer activities. Students often choose their own topics and are given rubrics to guide their presentations.
