At Villa Madonna Academy our commitment to the service of others flows from our foundation in Benedictine values, one of which is service. In order to emphasize the importance we place upon this value, all students will be involved with class service projects throughout the year.  In addition we are asking our Villa families to support us in our dedication to service by working with your children to plan for them to meet the service hour requirement at their grade levels.  This requirement could be planned as a family project or in conjunction with the parents (Mrs. DeFrank, Mrs. Paxton, and Mrs. Pickens) who plan regular activities for students as well as parents.

Service hour requirements must be met and turned in to religion teachers by April 4, 2008 (the Friday after Spring Break).  Service hour papers can be turned in early, but none will be accepted after April  4.

Throughout the year each religion class will spend time reflecting upon their service experiences. We will celebrate those students who have met the requirements by publishing/posting their names around the end of the school year.  Fulfillment of service requirements will be noted on the third trimester report card.
