Welcome to Villa Madonna Academy! 

My name is Mrs. Barb Phelps and I am pleased to be teaching Kindergarten, 7th Grade and Mrs. Heideman's 1st grade class for the 2011-2012 school year.  I am also Webmaster of the school's website, www.villamadonna.net.   This is my seventh year at Villa and I am looking forward to another great year!    

 All students will have computer class once per week for the entire school year and we will be using a variety of software applications, including Kid Pix, Kidspiration, Inspiration, and Microsoft Office 2007.  

My 7th grade students will need a USB drive this year and they are welcome to keep these in the lab for use throughout the school year.  The Technology Department of Villa Madonna Academy recommends the following: PNY Attache/Mini Attache, Imation USB 2.0, Memorex TravelDrive, or Sony Micro Vault.  All of these brands are widely available - Staples carries all of them.  Please DO NOT purchase any San Disk drives as they do not work well with our school environment.
