Do you like being involved in your students’ projects? As part of “Music In Our Schools Month” we will be making maracas in March. All students will need 2 clear cylindrical bottles with long necks and your choice or combination of beans/uncooked popcorn/uncooked rice. Additionally, students will need a scouring pad, rubber “electrical” tape or bicycle grip tape. We need some parents to help coordinate this event. Please let me know if you are available to assist with this project on the first two Tuesday afternoons in March.
All students need a binder, spiral notebook, and pencil for music class. These supplies will be kept in the music room. Binders and spiral notebooks will also be used in future years.
It would be appreciated if you send a box of Kleenex in with your child if you have not yet sent it in. Thanks!
