Welcome to Junior High School Art

Grade Seven has art on Wednesday or Thursday afternoons. Students are painting food in the style of Wayne Thiebaud. They will visit the Frida Kahlo exhibit coming to Villa. They will also have a lesson on Frank L. Wright and ceramic houses.

Grade Eight: has art on Monday or Tuesday afternoons. Students are finishing their wonderful self-portrait paintings in the style of Chuck Close. They are also working on designing a symbol for themselves to be carved into a relief print block. This spring they will also be making ceramic masks.
