Grade 7 Webpage

Welcome to seventh grade religion!  Our curriculum this year focuses on Jesus—His life and teachings.  Our textbook is titled Blest Are We—The Story of Jesus. 

Service Hour Forms are due to religion teachers on May 11.  Students can turn them in anytime before or on May 11, but they will not be accepted after May 11.

Each week we learn ten facts—Catholic trivia--and have a ten question multiple choice quiz on these each Monday.   We usually have a  chapter test on material in our text book every seven or eight class days, and we go to Mass most Fridays.

We are beginning chapter 11, "Living in Christ's Love".  We will discuss Christ's quote, "Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. . ."  We will also discuss morality and living a moral life, the Magisterium, the Ten Commandments, and learn about Dorothy Day.  Our test will be on Thursday, May 10.
