Social Studies- We have begun our continent travels. We made our suitcases and passports. Our next  stop is North America.

 Our next area of study will be the  pilgrims and the first Thanksgiving. This is a very short unit. We will discuss the life of a pilgrim and their first year of life in the New World.

We will begin a unit on Christmas around the world in December. We will concentrate on Europe but we will discuss customs from other countries. If you are familiar with customs from other countries and would like to come and speak to the class please email me.  

Science - Botany will be the lesson for the next weeks. We will be studying plants. What are the parts of the plant? What are the tallest plants? What are some plants that we can eat? What are some parts of a plant that we can eat?What are some things that we can use from plants? how do we care for plants? What do plants need to live and grow?
