Social Studies- We will end our studies visiting the Rain Forest in South America. The students will learn the names of the layers of the rainfores(forest floor,understory,canopy and emergent) and the animals that live in each layer. We will also discuss the many resources of food and medicine which we get from the rainforest. We will not have a written test on this material.   

Science --During the month of March , we will begin our SPACE unit. We will be talking about the Sun and the planets. The Smartboard and the Ipad will help us learn some interesting facts about the solar system.

 Religion -  Our final lessons will teach us that we can live each day as a Christian. The Spirit of Jesus is with each of us. The Spirit of Jesus helps us to live what Jesus taught us. We can pray, share with others, care for the sick and poor and show respect for all people. We can follow the laws of God and live the Benedictine Values. Let's share God's Spirit today. Share the love that shows the way of Jesus. As we put our Religion Books away, I know that these young children will not put their Religion and Benedictine Values away. I know that these boys and girls will live as Christians and children of God. I know that your childen will  continue to grow in faith and live in God's love. Let us go in Peace.
