2009 GIRLS GOLF
For the seventh time in eight years, and for the fourth consecutive year, Villa Girls Golf has captured the NKAC Division II Championship!
On 9/22/09 at Boone Links, our team, consisting of Katie-Scarlett Skinner, Kim Schroer, Katie Ransdell, Katie Gross, and Lauren Wagner, shot a team score of 352, ahead of Highlands, St. Henry, Holy Cross, Bishop Brossart, and Newport Central Catholic.
Katie-Scarlett Skinner placed second in the individual scoring, with an 81, which put her in a two way tie with a student from Brossart.
Kim Schroer shot 84, which was 4th place in Division II.
Katie Ransdell shot 87, which put her in 5th place in Division II.
Katie Gross and Lauren Wagner rounded out our team effort with scores of 100 and 105 respectively.
As a team, our 352 was the second lowest score in the entire field.
