MEET THE COACHES

	Don Shields -- beginning 23rd year as Head Girls Basketball Coach.  Career record is 346-253 after 22 seasons. Under Coach Shields tenure, Villa Girls have had 14 consecutive winning seasons and have won 20 or more games six times.  They also have won four NKAC championships and have advanced to the 9th Region Tournament the last two years in a row. Previous basketball coaching includes asst. basketball and asst. baseball coach at Moeller High School (Cincinnati), asst basketball coach at Boone County High School, and Head Baseball Coach at Boone County High School.  Northern Ky Basketball Official for 18 years (1972-1990)
	Gary Baker -- beginning 10th year as asst coach for girls team.  Previously was a boys elementary coach at VMA for 7 years.
	Beth Averbeck -- beginning 6th year as girls asst coach.  Previously was a girls elementary coach for 4 years.
