Athletic Directors Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Villa graduate Kelly Reutman Roberts who was recently inducted into the Northern Kentucky Athletic Directors Hall of Fame. Kelly graduated from Villa Madonna in 1995 and was a standout basketball and volleyball player for Villa. Kelly still holds the school record as the all-time leading scorer with 2,047 points (16th best all time in Northern Kentucky) and career rebounds with 1,934. Kelly's #33 jersey is retired by our school and her photo and article can be found in the Room of Champions in the gym. Read more about Kelly in our upcoming Alumni Report. Kelly's basketbal coach was Don Shields and her Volleyball coach was Sandi Kitchen. Kelly is the daughter of Dr. Bill Reutman and Nancy Reutman who is our kindergarten teacher in the grade school. Kelly received her B.S. Degree in 1999 and her MPT in 2001.

Becky Ruehl Class of 1995

Becky  was inducted into the Larosa'sHall of Fame in June! This is Becky's 10th year anniversary participating in the Olympics.  Becky's Olympic Flag and picture  can be found in our Room of Champions.

Becky began diving at the age of seven. She was coached by Charlie Casuto throughout her diving career and she was a member of the Cincinnati Stingrays from 1986 to 2000.

Becky is a 1995 graduate of Villa Madonna Academy. She is a five time Kentucky State High School One Meter Diving Champion who broke her own 1993 state record in 1995. Becky was voted Kentucky State High School Student of the Year for Academics and Athletics in 1995.

Becky graduated from the University of Cincinnati, DAAP, in the year 2000. She is a five time Academic and Athletic All-American, a recipient of the ACE Academic Award for academic commitment and excellence, and a five time University of Cincinnati Topcat Scholar. She was twice selected to the GTE Academic All-American National Team. Winning an NCAA Championship 10 Meter Platform Diving title in 1996 made her the first women in the history of the University of Cincinnati to win an NCAA title in any sport. That same year, she also placed second in the 3 Meter diving event and was named NCAA Diver of the Year.

Becky holds four National Titles in Women's 10 Meter Platform Diving and earned a bronze medal at the 1994 Pan American Games. She is the first person from Northern Kentucky to qualify for the Olympics. Becky finished fourth in the Women's 10 Meter Platform Diving Event at the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia.

Becky is a recipient of the USOC Diver of the Year Award, the Phillips 66 Performance Award for Attitude and Ability, and the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Women's Sports Association Wilma Rudolph Courage Award. Becky was inducted into the University of Cincinnati James P. Kelly Hall of Fame in 2005 and will be inducted into the LaRosa’s Hall of Fame this June.

Becky is a graphic designer currently living and working in Chicago. She is married to Brandon Amann, an architect, who graduated from the Villa with Becky.
