The 1st Villa Madonna Academy Athletics Hall of Fame took place on Friday, October 30, 2009. Inductees included Becky Ruehl Amann, Carla Austin, Lori Erpenbeck, Kim Gunning, Melisa Schreiber Harkrader, Jane Scheper Meier, Kelly Reutman Roberts, Lisa Scheper, and Denny VanHouten.
Thank you to Chairperson Don Shields and the Hall of Fame Committee Sr. Nancy Kordenbrock, Carole Lonneman, JJ Santos, Whitney O'Neal, Rob Starkey, Pamela McQueen, Mary Pavel, Debbie Young, Matt Stapleton, Steve Oldfield, Frank and Jan Kreutzer, Lisa Bezold, Laura Curry, Dina Gibson, Pam Fitzpatrick, Jodie Meyn, Emily Hurtt and Chelsea Case.
This event took place in the Villa theater and a beautiful candlelight reception followed in the gym foyer.
If you were not able to attend the 2009 Hall of Fame Event, programs are available in the Athletic Office and also posted in the glass case in the Villa gym foyer. The program lists the inductees and their accomplishments to Villa athletics over the years. Thanks to all that attended and to the many people that made this event possible!
