Villa Madonna Academy
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year.
We are proud to have approximately 500 students return to Villa for grades 1-12.
This past summer we had a record number 109 students participate in our Villa Sports Summer Camps.
Camps included Basketball, Golf, Soccer, Tennis and Volleyball.
This school year we expect 75% of our students to participate in one sport. Some students participate in 2 or3 sports during the school year. We ask that students participate in only one sport per season!
Fall Sports: (Season - July 15 - October)
Girls Golf ( Grades 5-12) Grade school team, JV team & Varsity team
Boys Golf (Grades 6-12) JV team & Varsity team.
Girls Volleyball (Grades 4-12) Grade school teams,JV team & Varsity team
Girls and Boys Cross Country ( Grades 9-12) Varsity team
Girls Soccer (Grades 8-12) JV team & Varsity team
Boys Soccer (Grades 7-12) Freshman team, JV team and Varsity team
Tennis clinics (Grades 6-12) Registration will take place in September
Winter Sports: (Season - October 15 - March )

Girls and Boys Swimming (Grades 9-12) Varsity team

Spring Sports: (Season - February 15 -May)

Boys Tennis (Grades 6-12) JV & Varsity
Girls and Boys Track (Grades 7-12 ) 7 & 8 grade team and Varsity team
Boys Baseball (Grades 8-12) Varsity team
Girls Softball (Grades 7-12) Varsity team
Grades 1-6 is Instructional and Grades 7-8 is Competitive. All high school teams (9-12) are Competitive.
If a high school team needs a student to fill a roster, the decision for a student to play up to a high school team will be made by the Principal, Athletic Director and High School Coach .
A student that is approved to play up to high school will be notified.
All parents must read and sign off on all the Policies for Sports when registering.
Polices are found on the website and also in the handbook.
Elementary policies and high school policies are different and each policy is posted on the website.
If your child is interested in joining a team for grades 1-12, please follow the directions to register and submit the forms found on the website by the due date.
