Save the Date - HS Sports Banquet 5/16/10!!

Our Annual High School Sports Banquet will take place on Sunday, May 16 at Summit Hills Country Club. Doors open at 5:00pm. All parents, coaches and players are invited to attend along with our faculty and staff. A full dinner buffet and dessert is available. This banquet is to recognize all students that participated on a high school team this school year. Sports include, golf, cross country, volleyball, soccer, basketball, cheerleading, swim/dive, track, tennis, softball, baseball and bowling. Please mark your calendar for this event. Invitations will be sent out in April. Last year 275 people attended. Please contact Mary Pavel in the athletic office at ext 506 for any questions you may have.

HS Swim Team Updates

Congratulations to Kim Yocom, Kirsten Geisbrecht, and Jacob VonHandorf who competed in the Regional qualifications swim meet Wednesday and Thursday. Both Kim and Kirsten swam life time best swims in all their events to finish out the season. Jacob will swim on Saturday in the Regional Championship in 100 Breaststroke where he qualified 9th and is the first alternate (13th place) in the 200 IM. The top 12 finishers in the Regional qualifier compete in the Regional finals tomorrow. Our region includes all of Northern Kentucky and stretches east to include Ashland. The top 2 swimmers from each region will go on to compete at the State Meet as well as the next 14 fastest times from all five regions. Good luck to Jacob tomorrow and congratulations to Kim and Kirsten on an outstanding finish this season.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE JR. HIGH BOYS TEAM WHO WON THE NKAC LEAGUE TOURNAMENT FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW, DEFEATING DAYTON IN THE SEMI-FINALS WITH A SCORE OF 35-24, THEN ON TO DEFEAT SILVER GROVE WITH A FINAL SCORE OF 31-26! A GREAT EFFORT BY ALL!!! BEST WISHES TO OUR THREE 8TH GRADERS -- GOOD LUCK IN HIGH SCHOOL!!! The Jr. High boys basketball team WIN the Holy Cross League Tournament!

Boosters Monthly Meetings
