1950s Mary Jo Poole Hall ’53 says that “I’ve been forever changed” after she made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land in Israel in October, 2007. Phyllis Hackman Noll ’56 will be traveling to Ireland with her husband, Bob, and two of her children. Elinor Robke-Comer ’57 will stand beside her grandson as a sponsor for his confirmation in May, 2008. Marty Blau-Baranec ’58 wishes the very best to all of her classmates in the Class of 1958! Ruth Seligman-Doering ’58 is enjoying time with her three grandchildren, Kate, Vada and Grayden. Millie Newahner ’59 would like to thank everyone who prayed for her during her recent battle with liver and lymph node cancer. She would also like to thank those who prayed for her brother who passed away this past February. She also thanks all who gave to the scholarship in her name and encourages others to give for the advancement of solid learning and religious values. 1960s Rose Schneider ’62 just traveled around the world working on tuberculosis evaluations, visiting such places as Mexico, Indonesia, and South Africa. Decky Martin Loussaert ’63 retired from SEARS after 17 years of service. She is keeping herself busy with volunteer work at church and the local elementary school. She also keeps busy with her four grandchildren. Judith Lonneman Davila ’64 tells us that her twin sister, Joan Lonnemann Deye ’64 will be welcoming soon twin grandchildren. Deliana Lacayo Garcia-Cepeda’67 welcomed the birth of a new grandson, Eugenio, who was born on March 8, 2008. Mary Anne Toerner Elsener ’67 welcomed the birth Dylan, her newest grandson who came 2 ½ months early in December, 2007. Also, her son recently announced his engagement for which she is very excited. In February, 2008, Carol Paul Schauer ’67 relocated to the Texas Hill Country outside of Austin, TX. 1970s Suzy Sutton Matthews ’79 will see her oldest child, Michael , off to Ohio State University in the fall. Her son, Patrick, is a sophomore at Moeller, and her youngest daughter, Molly, is a 6th grader at St. Columbiana in Loveland, OH. 1980s Donna Fedders Bornhorst ’83 looks forward to seeing graduates from her 1983 class. Laura Geiser Mate's '83 son, Alex, will be attending kindergarten at Villa in the fall of 2008. 1990s Kristin Worland Holt ’90 has accepted a position teaching Math at LloydHigh School beginning this fall. Matt Meeker ’93 is engaged to be married in May, 2009. He works as a Data Analyst for Fidelity Investments. He currently resides in Independence, KY. Martha Huller Maier ’94 and her husband Joel are expecting their first child in October, 2008. 2000s Alie Napier ’01 will prepare to enter her 3rd year of law school. Cassie Napier ’04 graduated suma cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in Business Administration. C. Alyse Bender ’04 graduated summa cum laude from Northern Kentucky University with a double major in speech and communications. She served as NKU Student Government president in 2007-2008 and will attend Salmon P. Chase Law School in the Fall. Lauren Beymer ’05 graduated summa cum laude, earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcasting/Electronic Media & Spanish. Jonathan Bender ’07 was a Dean’s Scholar at the University of Louisville in 2007-2008 school year. Sara Noviello ' 77, sister of Connie Headley-Dick '78, passed away on May 2, 2008. Jeanne Meyerratken Schulte ' 48 passed away on May 2, 2008. Maryanne Friedhoff, mother of Tina Fangmann '72 and Barbara Ames '75 passed away on May 4, 2008. Louis Nutini, father of Carol Jo Colacurcio ’69, Kim Auel ’70 and Patricia Staub ’75 passed away on May 19, 2008. Louis Noll, father of Laurie Noll Munson ’80, Lisa Noll Clark ’82, Lynne Noll Short ’83, Rachel Noll ’90, Gina Noll Ransdell ’93, Adam Noll ’95, and Sarah Noll Holland ’96 passed away on May 26, 2008.

Christine Renee Rust Yarmuth '60 is living in Louisville, KY and just finished her term as Rotary Club President of 60 clubs in District 6710. Christine's club received "Club of the Year" and also received 4 other various awards. Mark Krahe '02 placed 2nd in the Northern Kentucky Amateur Golf Tournament held at Triple Crown Country Club.
