INSTRUCTIONS FOR
REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS FOR 2010-11
Who Must Register?
All students returning to Villa Madonna Academy for 2010-11 must register at this time. (The ONLY exception is if you only have an incoming freshman and have previously completed and returned the yellow “Financial Responsibility & Payment Selection Form” for incoming freshmen.)
What Forms Must Be Completed?
The Financial Responsibility Form MUST be completed by each family.
A $400 registration fee per student is also due at this time. All areas of the form must be completed INCLUDING the Payment Plan Selection at the bottom of the page. Please do not indicate that you will make a decision later about payment plan selection – the Business Office needs to know your choice now so that the proper paperwork can be generated for your selection. If you currently use FACTS for payment of tuition, the Business Office will “rollover” your contract based on your selection on this form. Please note that if you choose FACTS credit card as your option, FACTS will charge a convenience fee for each payment. The fee is approximately 2 ½ - 3% of each payment.
When Must the Form be Returned?
The form and the registration fee must be returned to the Business Office by March 19. 2010. If we do not receive the “Financial Responsibility & Payment Selection Form” and the $400 registration fee by March 19th, a late registration fee will be charged as follows:
Late registration fee if form received March 22nd through March 31st ……..$25.00
Late registration fee if form received April 1st through April 30th…………...$50.00
Late registration fee if form received May 1st through May 31st…………….$75.00
Late registration fee if form received after May 31st………………………...$200.00
Please note that the late fee is not charged to generate additional revenue for Villa. We do not budget to receive late registration fees and would much prefer that all registrations were received by March 19th. We truly need to know our enrollment numbers in March in order to properly plan for next year yet, without a “late” fee, many people do not put a priority on returning their child’s registration.
Where Should We Send the Form and the Registration Fee?
The form and registration fee should be sent to the Business Office at Villa Madonna Academy. You may send the form and fee in with your child marked “Registration” or you may mail the form and payment to the attention of the Business Office at Villa Madonna Academy, 2500 Amsterdam Road, Villa Hills, Kentucky 41017.
Why Must We Register Now?
As mentioned above, we need to know our enrollment numbers so that we may properly plan for next school year. Teacher needs are determined in April based on students enrolled for the next school year. Some school supplies and textbooks must be ordered early to insure that they are received before the next school year begins. In addition, many of our elementary classes are full, assuming the return of children already at Villa, and waiting lists have been established for those classes. We will look to our waiting lists to fill spots if we do not receive your registration by March 19th. That is why it is so important to have your registration by March 19th.
