Thanks to a grant from the Greater Cincinnati Foundation’s Learning Links Program, Villa Madonna elementary students enjoyed a chance to learn more about Iran, Iraq, Russia, and Vietnam.
Over the past two months, Villa teachers have incorporated maps, songs, art, folk tales and history lessons from these countries into their lessons. Cafeteria staff helped out too, providing international foods at lunch. The multicultural unit culminated with “An Arabian Adventure,” a puppet show featuring the Tanglewood Marionettes.
