Sr. Clarita Anneken was honored during the NHS induction as an outstanding graduate of Villa Madonna. Sister Clarita, who is now retired, was a principal and taught math and Latin during her years as an educator. “Old Latin teachers never die,” she joked as she accepted a bouquet of flowers from Villa senior Nathan Goderwis, “they just decline.” Over the course of her career, Sister Clarita taught Nathan and his brother Josh, their father and uncle, and their grandparents.
